Toby Mitchell successfully defended his thesis to become the second PhD awarded from the Coherent Quantum group. Toby was the first student in the solid state subgroup, with his work focusing on both utilizing magnetic AFM tips for NV depth calibration and characterisation of hBN samples. Toby was a great addition to the lab and his boundless enthusiasm made for a great work environment. Congratulations again to Dr. Toby and all the best for you continuing work in Oxford!
